blinnen I spent much of the day yesterday listening to the new VH x RR song, "Adrenochrome."

While I didn't know that Adrenochrome is a chemical compound produced by the oxidation of adrenaline and that it was the subject of limited research from the 1950s through to the 1970s as a potential cause of schizophrenia, I did INSTANTLY know that this is another amazing, driving synth classic from our friends Von and Rob.

And the 12" mix is especially fantastic! Favorite track: Adrenochrome (12 inch Extended Mix).

schubert Could be the best track they’ve ever recorded. The single is phenomenal and the 12 inch takes it to another level. I recommend listing to this with headphones on so you can hear everything.

What happens when we give control of our lives to the machines we invented? “Adrenochrome” the latest single from synthpop duo VH x RR, explores that very question. Inspired by The Terminator film series, the current rise of AI, and the divisive power of social media, the song is a future storytelling of a techno society out of control and in decline.
